Why Pressure Swing Adsorption?

How it works

On-site Nitrogen and Oxygen PSA Generators

  • Our Nitrogen and Oxygen generators are based on the Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology.
  •  Development and production processes employ only components of the highest quality
  • Increase flexibility and cost-effectiveness with our PSA solutions and produce your own Nitrogen and Oxygen where and when you need it without compromising on quality
  • Used by a range of industries, our PSA generators allow you to produce the gas exactly where you need it, when you need it and in the quality that you need.
  • Custom-made generator systems for cases where our standard range of generators does not fit your specific requirements
  • Our PSA solution pays for itself in a very short time.

How PSA works

STEP 1

STEP 1

The PSA process starts as clean and dry compressed air enters the first cylinder (left). ✓ The unwanted Nitrogen / oxygen gas is adsorbed by the pellets at high pressure, but the required gas molecules pass through. The resulting high-purity gas is stored in the buffer tank. ✓ During this step of the cycle, the second cylinder (right) is cleaned.

STEP 2

STEP 2

✓ Next, the pressure between the two cylinders is equalised.

STEP 3

STEP 3

When the pressure drops in the left cylinder and the pellets are saturated, waste products (Nitrogen / oxygen) are blown out through the exhaust system. ✓ The process is repeated from step 2 but this time in the right cylinder. Pressure builds up, followed by equalisation. ✓ The process is repeated and a constant production of required gas is established.
